"Topos" is Greek for "place", and refers to both the sense of place the 4 kiosks provide, and the purpose of a wayfinding kiosk as a tool to guide from place to place. Also a play on the word topiary which refers to the sculpting of organic matter into manmade, odd or unnatural forms.
